Multi-specialty hospital billing team reviewing claims at Surgepath Hospital, Hyderabad

Surgepath Multi-Specialty Hospital: rejection falls from 31% to 8%

Surgepath submitted 420 claims per month and had a 31% first-pass rejection rate, driven by ICD-10 coding mismatches and missing prior authorization references. After connecting its HIS to Care.Fi's AI coding and pre-check, the rejection rate dropped to 8% over three months. The billing team now reviews flagged high-risk claims instead of the full claim pool. Its first gap financing advance arrived within 48 hours of enrollment.

"Claims were being rejected even after our coders had checked them. Care.Fi's pre-check surfaced diagnosis and procedure mismatches we had no consistent way to identify before submission. The first-pass improvement in the first quarter exceeded our expectations."

Kalyani Surgical Centre, Gurugram: INR 18 lakh advance within 36 hours of enrollment

Kalyani handles a high volume of orthopedic and post-operative procedures under cashless insurance. Settlement timelines with its primary payers were running 90 days or longer. Within 36 hours of joining Care.Fi's early-access program, INR 18 lakh in qualifying held receivables was advanced to its operating account. The centre now draws gap financing routinely while clean claims are in the payer review queue.

"Our claims were clean. Coding was not the issue, waiting was. Receiving an advance against held receivables within 36 hours of enrollment completely changed how we view our monthly cash position."
